Cathodic Protection SystemThe CPAC system (Cathodic Protection Adaptive Control System) enables a precise automatic control over the cathodic protection system’s anodes.
CPAC provides the right voltage/current to each anode by an independent and flexible control algorithm. The CPAC is a flexible system, easily adapted to all kind of sites, regardless of the site’s physical size or the amount of anodes it contains. The CPAC is comprised from 3 major units, enabling it to measure the reference electrodes potential, apply the control algorithm, and induce the proper voltage/current on the anodes. Sensing Modules The sensing modules connect to the reference electrodes to sample their potential. Each module can sense up to 80 electrodes. The number of sensing modules in a single system is unlimited, thus allowing a widely spread site to be controlled by a single system. Power Modules The power modules are controlled by the control module, and supply the anodes with the proper voltage/current. Each module contains up to 32 independent power supplies. The power supplies allowing the customer to select the voltage and current combination suitable for the specific application. Control Module The control module is the computerized module synchronizing the entire system. The control module receives all the reference electrodes signals, applies the proper algorithm per anode, and commands the power units outputs. The system is controlled by the software installed on the computer, which allows the user to get the status of the system and control its parameters. |
